The idea was to help people to see what the night ministers really do – to make people feel like they are out on the street with the ministers. I think it ended up being pretty successful. It seemed as though people were able to connect with the pictures and so connect with the night minister’s work.

No room for failure. Most successful entrepreneurs set out thinking there’s only one option, and that is to succeed in business. If they fail in one business venture, they don’t apply for a job. They set out on another business venture. This single mindedness to succeed at becoming a successful entrepreneur is perhaps the most important thing you need to have in order to succeed.

“I am an extreme optimist, while my husband likes to play the devil’s advocate. He wants to know the worst thing that can happen. I don’t even want to think about the worst case. I provide the discipline and stick-to-it-iveness.” — Jenny Craig, Jenny Craig Inc.

2) Always have a plan – entrepreneurship can be a very chaotic activity. You need to have a plan if you want to navigate the business world successfully. I continue to do those things today just as much while working for myself.
